“In August 2012 I arrived in the UK as an I international student. After completing my ACCA qualification, I enrolled with the University of London to study my Masters degree and currently I am a practising Chartered Accountant.By the end of 2017, I managed to complete my Masters degree and gained experience working in Accounting, Finance and retail industries. I have also volunteered for several non-profit organisations to contribute towards less-fortunate people. In several occasions during 2016-2017 in collaboration with Cancer Research UK, Children Air Ambulance and Sight Savers, I proudly raised a total of £44,132.55.

When I heard about the BRS and the great job they do to support refugees and asylum seekers I felt it’s time for me to give back to the community and decided to join the Board of Trustees where I can use my experience, personally as an immigrant and professionally as an accountant.

Barnet Refugee Service is a great organisation and I am proud to be part of it.”
